For a participant under 18, their parent or legal guardian must read and agree on their behalf. These terms apply to the camp and its organized activities at the dates and venue shown on the registration page.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS

The participant acknowledges the risks associated with group games, physical challenges, outdoor exploration, travel where arranged by the organizer, and other camp activities.

BMSMKJ shall not be responsible for damage, injury or accident suffered by a participant throughout the camp, except where caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of BMSMKJ.

Damage includes, but is not limited to, the loss of or damage to belongings, valuables and jewellery. Participants should avoid bringing unnecessary valuables.

Full and accurate medical disclosure during registration is mandatory, including medical conditions, allergies, medication requirements and relevant dietary needs. BMSMKJ shall not be responsible for mishaps arising from information that was withheld or inaccurately disclosed, except where caused by BMSMKJ's negligence or wilful misconduct.

2. RELEASE FROM LIABILITY

The participant acknowledges and assumes the risks described in section 1 and agrees to waive, release and discharge BMSMKJ from claims, demands, actions or liabilities arising from damage, injury or accident during the camp, subject to the exceptions below.

This release does not discharge BMSMKJ from liability for damage, injury or accident caused by its negligence or wilful misconduct. The same exception applies throughout this agreement.

3. INDEMNITY

For damage, injuries or accidents not caused by BMSMKJ's negligence or wilful misconduct, the participant agrees to indemnify BMSMKJ against related claims, demands, liabilities, damages, actions, losses, costs, expenses and legal fees, including ancillary matters, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. PRIVACY AND SAFETY

Information collected during registration shall be used for purposes of this camp, including participant administration, payment processing, communication, guardian and emergency contact, and participant welfare and safety.

Reasonable spot checks of participants' belongings may be conducted if BMSMKJ receives a complaint of theft or possession, use or consumption of prohibited items.

5. VIDEO RECORDINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

BMSMKJ may take photographs and video recordings during camp activities without giving prior notice on each occasion.

BMSMKJ may use camp photographs and recordings for camp reporting and promotion. By agreeing to these terms, the participant, or their parent or legal guardian for a participant under 18, gives permission for this use without requiring separate permission for each photograph or recording. Please contact the organizer before the camp if there is a privacy or safeguarding concern.

Possession, use or consumption of the following items during the camp is strictly prohibited:

- Illegal drugs or other prohibited substances.
